We are an 11-19 Specialist Technology College able to provide a very broad and relavant curriculum to meet the needs of all of our students regardless of their abilities, interests & aptitudes.
Almost 1900 students attend including 400 6th formers.

About Us

Heathfield is firmly committed to providing a curriculum that offers every student the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge, understanding, skills, abilities and qualifications in order to fully participate in the world of work and within society in general.

The College also recognises the importance of preparing our young people so that they are well informed about the choices they can make in terms of health and well-being and that they have the qualities to become good citizens. Above all else, the curriculum has been designed to help them to develop an enjoyment for learning which will hopefully be carried with them though out their life and inform their decisions should they become parents in the future.

The stages of learning are generally organised across the College according to age. However, where a student is making progress outside her/his age range, additional support and opportunities are in place to maximise learning.
