Mediation

Mediation is advocated by the courts, EU, public bodies and commercial organisations for the settlement of disputes between parties. It is the key route for Small Claims settlements after 2013.
Mediation is voluntary process but the courts are likely to take a dim view of a party that refuses mediation.
Mediation is confidential process that even the courts will not require to know the proceedings in a mediation but the decisions are binding.
The Parties are helped to arrive gradually and systematically at their own mutually-agreed settlement to their dispute; we aid by listening attentively and facilitating actively the settlement
We create a friendly atmosphere; instil confidence, rapport and trust in the parties.
The mediation process begins with a set plan and a timetable and ends, with the settlement when the parties are ready.
But sometimes settlement through mediation may not be possible, the parties may have to seek settlement in other ways, including returning to court.
