Book-keeping services

I provide a professional and efficient book-keeping service for small businesses. This can range from a couple of hours a quarter to do the VAT to several hours a week where trading activity is more intensive. I work on or off site on Sage, QuickBooks and other book-keeping software. I have strong experience of the charity sector and international issues as well as the more mainstream UK VAT and payroll regimes. I can usually report any period within two weeks of period-end providing I have control of the workflow, and will provide your accountant with a fully reconciled Trial Balance to help keep fees to a minimum.

I am happy to take on a backlog and bring it up to date and then hand over to your in-house book-keeper.

All work is guaranteed, and fees agreed in advance. Initial consultation and assessment of time required is free of charge.

Training & Support

As well as looking after the book-keeping directly for clients I also train and support book-keepers, especially on QuickBooks. I am a member of the Intuit professional advisors programme. I provide on-site one-to-one training on a session by session basis, entirely tailored to the needs of the book-keeper and the system in use.
