Oxford Heat Pumps Ltd is a newly set up company, however that's not to say they are new to heat-pumps, as they are associated with G M Bailey Air Conditioning Ltd. Dealing a lot in the heat-pump market through their main business, it made sense for them to adopt a name for this part of their business which expressed what they did and where they are geographically, hence Oxford Heat Pumps Ltd. Oxford Heat Pumps is privately owned and financed directly by its owners and run from their existing offices in Carterton, located between Oxford and Swindon. Air conditioning and heat pumps are really very similar. The basic principle of evaporating and condensing special refrigerant gasses within the system is almost identical. It is really a matter of the way the energy is transferred and distributed that differs between the two. Most of their air conditioning systems are reverse cycle air to air heat pumps and their involvement with ground source heat pumps has grown as their existing suppliers have started to produce heat pumps for wet (radiators and under-floor heating) systems.
