The Thai Shop has been in Tenterden for over 25 years. For the last 12 years we have been working with one of the top designers in Thailand. The clothes are quite beautifully made in a variety of stunning silks and yet are amazingly inexpensive. We also supply a huge range of custom made clothes for ladies of any size. Our clothing range includes Suits, blouses, trousers and outfits.

Silk
Silk is a natural protein fibre that can be woven into textiles. It is obtained from the cocoon of silkworm larvae reared in captivity (sericulture). The shimmering appearance for which silk is prized comes from the fibres' triangular prism-like structure, which allows silk cloth to refract incoming light at different angles. At Thai silk, we specialise in the sourcing and tailoring of the best silk, to produce stunning clothing, like the blouse pictured.
