This new multi million pound Livestock Marketing Centre was completed and opened in November 2009 and is located on a 16 acre site with a 3.25 acre livestock building capable of holding 1,200 cattle and 15,000 sheep.

It is very conveniently located on the Mid Wales/Shropshire Borders around 20 miles west of Shrewsbury on the A458, around 15 miles south of Oswestry on the A483 and around 14 miles north of Newtown on the A483.
Welshpool Livestock Sales Ltd has a dedicated team based at the Welshpool Livestock Sales Centre dealing with the sales and purchases of livestock on behalf of its very extensive client base. We conduct weekly sales of Prime Stock every Monday and the market is reputed to be the largest Prime Lamb Market in Western Europe. We conduct weekly sales of Store Sheep and Dairy and Suckler cows and fortnightly special sales of Store Cattle. We conduct Specialist and Breed Society Sales and we are the official auctioneers on behalf of:
