E-Plane encompasses a friendly and professional Flying School and an aircraft maintenance facility, based at Fenland Airfield. Fenland Flying School is CAA approved to offer flying instruction towards the Private Pilot’s Licence and associated ratings i.e. Instrument, Night, Radio qualification including the necessary ground school.
FFS enjoys the use of a quiet grass airfield in rural South Lincolnshire with no nearby airspace restrictions. PPL courses can be tailored to individual requirements, covering the 45 hour course in either an intensive ¾ weeks (accommodation available) or stretched out over a longer period.
FFS instructors, as well as being aviation enthusiasts, have a wealth of experience, being ex RAF and ex airline captain. Their sole interest is to pass on their experience to the budding pilot, rather than merely using teaching as an ‘hours building’ exercise, as in many schools.
E-Plane also maintains a wide range of light aircraft (EASA) and TBM750 and Eclipse Jets.
