Chippy is always busy esp at tea time so be prepared for a que if you nip in lol. But the food is tasty so worth the wait.

The Big Chippy must be one of the oldest fish-and-chip shops in Prescot (it's been around since I was a kid, anyway), and probably one of the best. The service is fine and the food is good. They do a good spam fritter, which is enough to make me happy. Never tried their Chinese food, but it looks tasty. It's one of the busiest chippies in the area, certainly, so be prepared to queue if you turn up at teatime, especially on a weekend.

Still as good as i remember as a kid left area now . was visiting friends call in for my tea great fish and chips shop was very busy but service was quick and polite
