We love animals and provide very high quality care for pets in our home, as well as pet sitting, where we pamper and care your pets at your house.
We are fully insured and licensed to care for a wide range of animals including dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, mice, birds and reptiles, and take pride in the high levels of service we offer. We go the extra mile to make your pet's stay with us a great experience at a fantastic price!
We provide very high quality care for dogs, who live with us as a member of the family, a great alternative to boarding kennels, which can sometimes be stressful for some pets.
Rabbits and guinea pigs have their own dedicated area of our garden too, and our hutches exceed RWAF recommended sizes - see our website for more details!

Caring for Chief...
Bryony is extremely welcoming and friendly. They sent lots of emails so we had all the information we needed, and offered a great service, sending us text updates on our dog. Chief seemed really happy and contented when we picked him up, rather than overexcited and manic. We felt reassured that he had been well cared for and that Richard and Bryony were capable of handling any situation that may have arisen with Chief. We would definitely recommend Dovecote Pet Care to anyone seeking a dog sitter. We had never left Chief with strangers before but we did not feel anxious about it after meeting Richard and his family
Care for two dogs
2 dogs with strong characters who were very well looked after and loved by this great family in there home after a previous bad experience these people have given us hope of having time away again, highly recommend will definitely return.
Springer care
An excellent service for boarding our very nervous 2 year old springer spaniel (Alfie). We was very worried about leaving him for the first time but after visiting Dovecote and speaking with Richard and Bryony we felt Alfie would be well looked after and taken on long walks which he loves. When we picked Alfie up he was happy, healthy and well exercised. While we was away we received a text message telling us about Alfie which put our minds at rest. Would recommend Dovecote. Excellent....Thankyou
