At Brain Train we provide outstanding tuition for 5-16 year olds in Maths and English.

Our tuition is based on the UK National Curriculum so it really supports children in their school work. We know it works because parents tell us that both they and their child’s teacher notice a definite improvement. More importantly, the children who attend Brain Train develop a real sense of achievement and self satisfaction. As a result, they are more motivated in their school work and gain greater confidence.

Course Information

Maths & English
• Each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
• Both maths and English is covered in each session.
• All work is based on the National Curriculum.
• Each child receives individual tuition in a stimulating group environment.
• Each child receives homework weekly.
• Each child is set monthly spelling lists to learn.
• Monthly Inspired Writing task with prizes.

Writing Club
• Each session is 1 hour.
• Children complete 4 long creative writing tasks each month.
• Each month, children complete handwriting tasks.
• Children are encouraged to develop their writing skills through monthly book reviews.
• Each child receives homework weekly.

Other courses
• 11+ Preparation Course (Yr 5), 11+ Foundation Course (Yr 4): Preparation for Year 6 entry test to grammar and independent schools.
• 11+ Mock Examinations and summer crash course.
• SATs: Preparation for KS2 SATs in Year 6.
• GCSE Maths & English - Age 11-16.
