Leave a reviewDr Price should be kept away from adult ADHD
Four years ago I consulted with Dr Price at this centre to get a medical diagnosis of adhd. Dr Price incorrectly diagnosed me with Depression instead, although agreed to refer me to a specialist who could diagnose ADHD. 1.5 years later I found out he hadn't even made notes, never mind a referral. I now have a diagnosis of adhd and can access treatment, but in the interim my life fell completely part and I had to drop out of university. Today I found out that my brother, who has been suffering from similar issues, was informed by Dr Price that he doesn't have ADHD, but depression. On the merit of a single letter from his GP, Dr Price will not refer him to a specialist who could make an accurate diagnosis. ADHD is genetic, and Dr price has never spoken to my brother, but apparently the fact he goes to a university is enough for Dr Price to conclusively rule out ADHD. Dr Price is clearly unable to distinguish ADHD from coexisting conditions, and should be avoided.
