Kennels Routine

We supply top quality vet bed for your dog or you can bring your own to make your dog feel more at home.

In our kennels we have underfloor heating to keep your pets cosy and comfortable.

When the morning cleaning tidying and exercising is completed the dogs will be fed. We supply VHC Super Premium Kibble but if you wish you can supply the brand of food you normally use. Dogs are fed according to your instructions, but twice a day is the norm - in the morning and in the evening.

Pets are used to being let out first thing in the morning, so that is the first task, then 2 - 3 times throughout the day we go out to play with them - when they enjoy chasing a ball or simply running around and sniffing in our large, secure, grassed area - plus each kennel has its own attached outdoor run and dogs enjoy just watching the world go by. (Dogs are kept separate from each other at all times.)

Holmewood Kennels has been operating for 18 months now - the refurbishment programme is almost complete with 30 heated kennels with tiled floors. The grooming parlour is getting really busy, you need to book early to book your dog in for a pamper groom - leave them smelling good and feeling fab!We have new products in the shop too - Mobile bones for dogs with joint problems, Bionic Biotic to help digestion and skin problems, Furminator and the new Revolutioniser to keep your carpets looking good by reducing shedding, Dog hammocks and lovely new ornaments from USA (make lovely Xmas gifts)On our online shop www.dogstoreonline.co.uk we have branched out into food supplies - we can now deliver Burns and Royal Canin foods throughout the country - and better still delivery is free. We still have stocks of VetBed - the only bedding for our dogs!! So check us out!!!
