I started out producing slide shows created by using business graphics software running on mainframe computers. Since then have used many reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Business Objects and QlikView.

Over 20 years experience in migrating data between Databases and ERP systems

In the mid eighties I created a Loans Management System using Smart by Innovative Software on an Olivetti M24 with a 20 Mb hard disc and single user MS-DOS then recreated it in Informix-4GL on multi-user SCO Xenix migrating the data from one to the other. Since then I have worked with many different RDMS such as Informix, Oracle and SQL Server and ERP systems such as Multisoft, Tetra and Sage and been involved with data migrations across platforms as well as general upgrades caused by the advancement of technology..

Over 20 years experience of overseeing small scale projects

Having worked as a bookkeeper and been introduced to early computer technology my first project was to computerise a company's accounts by setting them up in Sage on an Apple II in the early 1980s. Since then I have project managed ERP installations and configurations, system upgrades, data migrations etc. I am currently a small part of a team migrating from Sage to SAP.
