The Grand Hotel

The AA 4 star Grand Hotel occupies pride of place on the Torquay sea front, commanding superb views out over the bay and to sea. This beautiful Victorian-inspired building, with interior Art Deco influences, is a perfect blend of modernity mixed with the charm and style of bygone days.

The hotel offers excellent food, 132 individually-appointed bedrooms (many with fantastic sea views) and a complete range of leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor hard court Tennis court, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Solarium and Gym. There is also a Beauty Centre in the hotel.

Eating at the Grand

The Grand's award-winning Gainsborough Restaurant offers fine dining with delicious menus, featuring the best local produce.

Less formal dining is also available in the comfortable Compass Bar & Lounge, where a range of light meals and bar snacks are availble throughout the day. There is also an extensive terrace area, perfect for enjoying a Devonshire Cream Tea or pre-dinner cocktail.

The Grand is also an ideal business venue, with a range of conference rooms accommodating from 10 - 350 people. It is also located very close to the International Riviera Conference Centre that can host major events
