Victorian poor house's

This shouldn't be happening in this day & age. It's all thanks to our current political system, they messed up by not investing in our countries energy infrastructure. The energy companies should be renationalised, along with water companies. These companies have proved they only care about profits, the water companies choose to discharge raw sewerage into our water courses, polluting our coastlines & the energy companies, mostly foreign owned send all the profits abroad & pay large dividends to their share holders. It's all wrong that elderly people now have to work till they drop & that warm places & food banks are becoming the norm.
