About us

Small private luxury hotel in its own grounds above Porthminster Beach, overlooking the harbour and St Ives Bay. Six luxurious rooms - one has a balcony, another a roof terrace, and another a patio and garden.

Blue Hayes Private Hotel has been created to be an oasis of calm tranquility, a place to escape from the pressures of life and relax in clear sunlight and the gentle sea breezes of this magical and mystical part of Cornwall .

From the moment you enter, you will notice the close attention to detail, the high standard of service and the high-tech facilities, all of which blend seamlessly into an atmosphere of quiet, informal luxury.

Food

There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance from Blue Hayes, but on some evenings you may wish to just unwind on the terrace or in the dining room, and enjoy a light supper with a good bottle of wine.

Light supper dishes are served cold, between 7pm and 8.30pm , and need to be ordered in advance, either at breakfast time for that evening or earlier. Please let us know in advance if you would like a light supper to be provided on the day of your arrival at Blue Hayes

MASTER SUITE has a four-poster bed, large bathroom with large Bath, separate Shower and WC. French doors open on to a private balcony, with table and two chairs, overlooking the harbour and the Bay.

GODREVY SUITE has excellent sea views, and is an extra large room that can accommodate two extra single beds plus Double or Twin beds. Full en-suite facilities including Shower/Bath and WC.

BAY SUITE has stunning sea views, and you can lie in bed and simply watch the sea... Double or Twin beds. Full en-suite facilities including Bath, separate Shower and WC.

GARDEN SUITE has beautiful garden views, with French doors opening on to a garden patio with table and chairs. Double or Twin beds. Large bathroom with large Bath, separate shower and WC.

TRELYON SUITE has French doors opening on to a large private roof terrace with palms and other plants, from where there are sea views across to Godrevy lighthouse. Double or Twin Beds. Full en-suite facilities including Shower/Bath and WC.
