1st class signed for posted 30/11/2020. Eventually tracking changed on 15/12 to delivered and signed for by XP19 at Malmo Road DO. Recipient can't find the parcel after checking with neighbours and no card left. No email available for customer services. Phone number useless as either cut-off or told 30 minute wait (0345 numbers are charged between 10p-40p per minute). No direct line to Malmo Road available. Complained about late delivery, received stamps same day the tracking changed. Now claiming for lost mail. Recipient has been given refund for item by me. Out of pocket £55. This is the second time this year this has happened, last time £40 lost. Royal Mail should not be offering 1st class if they know they can't meet 2 days. This is fraud. Would give minus stars if possible. Are all Royal mail staff crooks?

Website states open until 3pm today. When I rang the number the automated message stated'closed!'
