About us

Woodlands Farm is an ideal place for relaxing or taking a more energetic break. We are located in the secluded hamlet of Thimbleby on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, with the popular walker's village of Osmotherley just over a mile away. There are two footpaths just across the road from us which lead onto the Moors and offers incredible scenery and ideal terrain for mountain biking, cycling and walking. We are also only a stone's throw away from the Cleveland Way. Guests visiting Yorkshire for a few days have found us to be an ideal location as we are only a few miles from the A19, so it is easy to discover other areas such as the Yorkshire Dales, the Yorkshire Coast (including Whitby) or the historic City of York.

Amy is Yorkshire born and bred, and both Paul and Amy have extensive knowledge of local attractions, places to eat and shop. We can help you with the planning of your itinerary or if you're celebrating a special occasion we can arrange flowers; champagne and chocolates; or other gifts ready for your stay.
