Our speciality is Collombage and we make the frames in the Norman style or indeed copies of the original frame being replaced. Our stonework involves dressing of rough stone to match the local Artisans methods, tempered with the modern building requirements of the Norme FrancaisWe can arrange all the relevant consents, architects drawings etc. as well as groundworkers, plumbers, plasterers and electricians to offer a one stop shop for your project needs.Unlike many of the problems faced with getting work of any sort done in the region, we WILL turn up, your quotation WILL be promptly delivered and the job WILL be done! For those embarking on the search for a French home we can visit sites with you to advise on the refurbishment potential.At James Moore and Sons we are proud of our prices, because we're not only saving you money but saving the environment too.Because of minimal overheads caused by sourcing our timber from the UK only, our pricing is competitive for the fantastic timber and joinery on offer, with the use of solar energy where possible. It takes a little longer, but we think it's worth it.The joinery of our Green Oak and Hardwood framed buildings is traditional post-and-beam joinery using mortice-and-tenon joints with seasoned pegs. All of our projects keep up to date with modern building requirements.We can also carry out repairs and restoration work to period buildings too including lime renders, plasters and brickwork, meaning whatever you need our timber frames and joinery service.
