The AOC.

We have over 30 years experience of working with a wide range of clients including individuals, couples, groups, professional working adults, unemployed adults, entire families, volunteers, carers, children, young people, offenders, ex-offenders, police, teachers, pupils, students, doctors, nurses, therapists, public and third sector organisations, small businesses and private firms. Basically with anybody over the age of 0 years and with no upper age limit.


Our service in a nutshell:

We provide three creative services for children, teenagers and adults: a) therapeutic services, b) educational and training services and c) arts-based services.

What do we use?

Mindfulness, dramatherapy, role play and drama techniques, solution-focused, person-centred, psychotherapy and counselling, consultation, training and facilitation.

Who do we work with?

0 year olds up to no age limit. Private or corporate individuals, couples, families, small or very large groups. Private and public sectors and community groups.

Where are we based?

Sandwell, West Midlands with own office space large enough to see small families, couples as well as individuals, disabled access, small and large group spaces and car parking.

Registration & Insurance:

We are governed, registered and protected by parliament's Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Dramatherapists, fully insured and all our staff are DBS checked.

What do we want?

To provide individual/personal therapy, couple counselling, family therapy or group therapy to help adults, children and young people break free of a wide range of emotional, social or psychological problems.

To win exciting and creative contracts or happy to co-partner projects to run a series of programmes to either support, educate or heal our clients in communities locally across the West Midlands and surrounding areas or nationally.

We currently provide counsellors and therapists across the West Midlands, Bedfordshire, Cheshire, Bristol and Gloucestershire regions and work closely with local councils, charitable trusts, schools and arts projects.

We can provide highly trained and professional counsellors, dramatherapists, art therapists, play therapists, psychotherapists, trainers and actors across the West Midlands and beyond. The AOC is based in Sandwell, West Midlands and work all over the UK and internationally.
