Universal Safety Consultants (USC) commenced trading in 1990, originally as a division of Caduceus Ltd a company owned by the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, University of London. In 1994 USC became a Limited Company and has established itself as a premier provider of safety services.

The Company initially specialised in providing Health and Safety Consultancy and Occupational Health Services to the medical and healthcare sector. In 1994 it extended these services to include Ergonomics and Manual Handling Training. At the same time these services were marketed to all organisations.

In 2002 USC was bought out by Elitewilde Holdings Ltd and is now part of a Group which includes Salveo Ltd.

USC's consultants are all directly employed.
