Packages for consultation in new cocktail menus for Bars and Clubs which includes creation and design of menu and set up of bar, pricing strategies and training, master classes or lessons for employees. All courses are NTA (National Training Academy) Endorsed and certificated.

Cocktail Events

We have catered for hundreds of events big and small including Hen Parties / Stag Parties, Graduation Parties,Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christenings, Funeral Receptions / Wakes, Christmas Parties, Dinner Parties and many more. This service entails the shaking and pouring, making of cocktails, with the option of flarers and waiting on staff/glass collectors. All alcohol and bar equipment included unless otherwise stated.

Cocktail Courses

J and Jay Events offers an NTA endorsed course in professional bar tending.
There are two levels to the course at the end of which you receive a certificate for your qualification/s.

£75p/h - group discounts available for above 5 persons! The aim of the course is to heighten awareness of all aspects of bar work which includes bar equipment, bar etiquette, mixology and flare. A brief overview of all equipment to be used and how to use them effectively. An outline on the bartender ethos and how to conduct yourself behind the bar, including customer service, multi-serving and colleague interaction. In depth view into how to mix cocktails, flavour interactions and relationships and presentational value in cocktails. Free pouring techniques. Basic skills in working flare and introduction to professional flare.
