About Us

After over 30 years in retail between them, sisters Kathy Starkey and Lydia Houston decided the time was right to join forces and set up their own online retail boutique. 'We both have a passion for having beautiful things around us in our home and garden, starting HomeandGardenBoutique and sharing this passion with like minded customers was the ideal thing to do' .

Our 'HomeandGardenBoutique' independent online store is crammed with a delightful range of Traditional, Retro,contemporary and vintage style gifts, interior decor and home accessories for both your home and garden. Our passion is to search far and wide for chic items that will give you pad that special finishing look . Items in our collection includes photo frames, signs ,shabby chic and vintage items and clocks to name but a few .We have a wonderful range of products just for children and have introduced sections on jewellery and gifts and ideas for special occasions. We also supply table decorations such as T-lights and lanterns to restaurant ,hotels and pubs.

Background

When not working, Kathy enjoys running ,cycling and skiing as well as attending gliding competitions with her husband Chris . She is also an accomplished pianist and flautist. Lydia owns 2 Siamese cats, Tamino and Pamina, is also an accomplished clarinetist and enjoys playing chamber music. We hope you enjoy your visit and find something you love.
