About Us

Kids Planet is an independent family owned group of nurseries, located in the North West of England. We opened our first nurseries in Warrington and Widnes in 2008 and to date, have 10 children's day nurseries in the group, located at Beamont, Bridge Farm Crewe, Hale, Lymm, Prestwich, Sale, Warrington and Widnes. In September 2013, we also acquired Jeffrey's Corner nurseries in Springhead and Dukinfield.

OPENING SOON ... Our Salford nursery will open in September 2014 and is located on the corner of Eccles Old Road and Langworthy Road and is in close proximity to Media City and Salford Quays.

Kids Planet is very much a family group originally set up by CEO Clare Roberts and Chairman her father John Hoban. Clare's sister Lucy Hoban joined the group in July 2013 and has taken the role of Early Years Director. Lucy was previously Head Of Early Years in a large school and is in charge of Care and Education.

Our plan is to open more nurseries around the North West providing outstanding childcare. We employ the services of an independent Ofsted Inspector to inspect our nurseries on a quarterly basis to ensure our standards remain of the highest level at all times and we are continuously striving to move forward.

We take care of children from new born babies in our superbly equipped baby rooms to eight year olds who join in the Holiday club where our primary focus is the children and everything we provide and do has been designed through the eyes of a child; each brightly coloured nursery is a place of wonderment, each room carefully fitted for the age group, where natural curiosity is encouraged and young horizons are allowed to expand.

We offer the highest levels of security including fingerprint door entry access along with CCTV in each room which provides the safest surroundings possible.

Our staff are childcare qualified and are handpicked for their warmth, passion, commitment and enthusiasm. Each staff member is totally committed to the care and safety of your child and we invest heavily in their ongoing further training and development.

Extended Opening times at Kid’s Planet, our early morning start times and later closing times help you to plan your day with more flexibility. I know this can be a huge plus for parents who have hectic schedules and this factor has been a huge plus for me from day one.
