About Us

If you choose Wirral Metropolitan College you will be joining the largest college in Wirral with student success rates in the top ten percent nationally. In 2012 we invested six million pounds to improve our learning facilities and every year over sixteen thousand students study in our two main campuses or one of our seven specialist learning centres.
SFA & ESF LogosIn addition to being Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths [STEM] lead organisation for the North West Region, we hold a number of national quality standards for excellence in advice, guidance and employer led education and training. We are also the largest provider of apprenticeships in Wirral, graded outstanding by Ofsted for employer responsive training.
If you are aged 16 to 18, you will not have to pay any fees and many adult students aged 19 and over also study further education with us free. If you are looking for a degree level qualification, you can study with us through our partnerships with a number of universities, which offers superb value for money complemented by an impressive track record of excellent results.
