Credit Insurance is designed to protect your business against financial loss when your buyer is unable to pay for goods or services due to insolvency or default.

Services:

Policies from our insurer partners include cover for single account, top accounts, any 5 buyers, whole turnover, domestic,export or catastrophe. Cover is also possible for start up companies. Premiums start from under £50 per week with simple straightforward policy wording.

Insurance for UK exporters is available via the private market or UK Export Finance with whom we hold approved broker status. Export cover can include political risks if required.

Debt collection services can be included or can be taken separately. We can also assist with introductions to invoice finance or factoring contacts for business finance.

We offer independent, experienced and impartial advice from the credit insurance market and have agencies with all the leading insurers to provide you with the best insurance solution for your business.

We are FCA approved and members of the British Insurance Brokers Association and the Institute of Export.

Our Heritage

Charles Dominic was started since Gerry felt that insurer brokers were not serving small and medium size businesses with the same level of service that larger customers enjoyed. Business for the firm grew and this is still the company's ethos today as they continue to develop a market niche looking after small and medium sized busineses and start up companies.

We provide continuity. Many larger insurers and brokers have continuing changes in personnel however we aim to get to know and understand a client's business over a period of time. Some of our clients we have known for 20 years or more. We never forget how important a client is to us and their loyalty is very much appreciated.

Our Team
Charles Dominic Ltd is an independent insurance broker specialising in credit insurance. Established in 1987 the firm have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in credit insurance for both UK domestic sales and export sales overseas. The company have agencies will all the relevant insurers in the UK credit market and our service saves you approaching all the different insurer providers. As a specialist broker our job is to do this work on your behalf and ensure that you are partnered with the right insurer for your business.
Gerry Allen
Gerry is the senior executive of the firm and has been working in credit insurance and international trade for 40 years since leaving school. Gerry worked for three major international trading and finance companies who operated in Australasia/South Pacific, Africa and South America. He followed this with a stint working for a major credit insurance broker in London before establishing his current firm in the late 1980's.
Sandra Fernandes
Sandra Fernandes is the firm's company secretary and legal and compliance officer and the team is completed by John Philmore who is the administration executive.
