Welcome to South East Mobile Dog Scanning

Debbie has trained and bred dogs for over 30 years, she has always kept working dogs, cockers, springers and labs. stud dogs and bitches.
She had had her own business in partnership with her husband Kent K9 Ltd. Specialising in training sniffer dogs for the RASCO (Remote Air Sampling Canine Olfaction) system, now called REST, these dogs were working in Heathrow and Manchester Airports checking air freight. They also sold dogs to Customs, MOD, and police.

Fully Qualified

In 2013 Debbie trained with Lakeview Vets in Deal and qualified in 2014 as a Veterinary Care Assistant gaining a City and Guilds Merit award.

Scanning

In 2014 Debbie furthered her education in the canine world by taking and passing a course in ultrasonography, this gave her the qualification to offer a mobile ultrasound bitch scanning service.

She uses the portable ultrasound diagnostic scanner C40VET. This instrument is applicable to medical and clinical diagnosis of canine, feline, ovine, bovine and equine.

Debbie will travel to you and scan your bitch in the comfort of your home. The scan is best done after day 28/30 after mating. Heart beats should then be visible to determine a viable pregnancy.

Whelping

Debbie has been breeding dogs for over 30 years from mating bitches with her own stud dogs to whelping bitches this has amounted to hundreds of litters over the years gaining invaluable experience, it is this experience that will help you with your bitch in your home.

A full whelping service is available from scanning your bitch in pup, being on-call for help and advise, being 'midwife' to your bitch assisting her whelp her litter day or night, assisting the puppies should they need it, then scanning her post whelp to make sure she has finished and not retained any pups, which would lead to infection and illness.

Mirco Chipping

Debbie is trained and qualified to microchip all small animals and took the course with Peddymark.

She uses Peddymark mini microchips which are ideal for puppies cats and small dogs.

Nail Clipping

Debbie also offers a nail clipping service.
