I employed ARC Construction to make good plasterwork after rewiring, to skim two rooms, to rehang doors and refit floorboards and skirting, and to demolish an outbuilding. I had to endure a lot of macho posturing from Adam, telling me that I needed "someone like him" to sort things out. Despite his claims to be able to organise a variety of trades to work to complete a job properly, he left me with a gaping hole under the kitchen door when he sent his minions to demolish an outbuilding slab. When I complained, he came around with three other men and bullied me. He inflated both materials costs and hours worked on invoices. Companies House states that this company was dissolved in 2017, yet Adam Chomyn is still trading under the company name and charging VAT. In addition: "Custom" floorboards were cut to wrong size; House was left filthy; Plasterwork was lumpy and uneven; Door hinges were fixed with only one screw; Screws stood proud of skirting; Door handle fell off after one week
