The Usworth & District Workingmen's club has been a permanent fixture on the Usworth Skyline for many years now. The club, founded in 1903 has occupied two other premises before having a state of the art complex built in the 1960's where it has remained ever since.

Always being at the heart of the Usworth community the club has been the place to visit for generations of families living in the sourrounding area.

The building itself is magnificent and boasts a number of bars and function rooms which over the years have played host to an unmentionable number of events from birthday parties to weddings and everything else in between.

The club has recently been taken over by Simple Leisure, a company with years of experience in this sector. Simple Leisure are working with the committee, the employees and the local community of Usworth to returning the club to its former glory.

Currently the club is open for business as usual and lots of work is being put in to bring some of the countries best acts and entertainment back to the Top Club at Usworth.

Function Space

The Top Club is a large venue and is suitable for all occasions including; private functions, birthday parties, corporate meetings, charity fundraising events, wakes, themed nights and music shows.

We can accommodate up to 300 in the main concert room complete with large stage, dance floor, lighting.

Besides this we also have syndicate rooms available on other levels with various capacities including:

The U/S function - 120
The D/S Lounge - 70

All of our spaces are flexible and catering options are available.
