No promised return call .

I contacted the surgery on Wednesday to arrange for a medical examination with Dr Blagden. This is required by North East Derbyshire Council Licensing Department. I was informed that I would receive a return call to confirm the appointment, no such call has been received. I need the required documentation to continue to work as a Licenced Private Hire Driver. This is not the first time such problems have occurred. Last year I made an appointment over the phone only to discover on attending that by mistake, it had been made for the following week and I had to return then even though I was able to show documentary evidence that the mistake was theirs.
