About Us...

Carla Lane Animals In Need is a non-profit organisation promoting the prevention of cruelty to animals. We rescue unwanted, ill-treated and abandoned animals and provide essential care at our sanctuary. We follow the 3 R’s. Rescue - Rehabilitate Rehome. We arrange for all our animals to be vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped before they find their forever homes.
Here at Carla Lane Animals In need, we have a non-destruction policy and house all the animals until we find a suitable home for them. We are currently home to over 100 animals including dogs, cats, rodents and a variety of farm animal.
From 1st of April 2013 our charity name was changed to ‘Carla Lane Animals In Need.’ We are very proud to be associated with such an important compassionate animal lover. Our Sanctuary will go from strength to strength as we expand and help so many more unwanted and abandoned animals.

Farm Animals at Carla Lane Animals In Need.
We have many farm animals living here at the sanctuary.
Earlier this year, a stray sheep was brought to our sanctuary. We found her a space at our sanctuary and made every effort to find her owner. Two days later she gave birth to Milly. Milly was very fragile and weak when she was born so we moved mum and baby to our cat isolation. Thankfully she made a full recovery and both mum and baby are doing great.
We have many ex-battery hens who often supply the eggs for our fundraising events !
