About me

I began polishing at around the age of 10 when I was part of a small group of volunteers tasked with the cleaning of a number of steam locomotives at The East Anglian Railway Museum near Colchester. Something clearly "clicked" with a young me, as ever since I have been keen to make shiny thing shinier and ensure the oily stuff stays where it's supposed to!

I have spent all of my adult life "playing" with cars and motorbikes. In 2004, having finished 3rd in class in the BTRDA Club man Rally Championship, I decided that my wallet could no longer cope with such an expensive hobby and so, indulging my passion for Classic Sportscars I approached some contacts and began preparing cars for Car Shows and Concourse competitions.

I have amassed a great knowledge and experience over the years and have taken the plunge into sharing this with others on a full-time basis. We are fully insured and registered with the Pro-Valeters Directory and UK Car Valeting Directory.

As Classic Details, my aim is to provide a high quality service and exceptional standard of finish to vehicles from all walks of life. Regardless whether your pride and joy is a City Rover, MGB or Ferrari 250 you will benefit from the same meticulous eye for detail and pride of workmanship.
