ASSETtrail @ JPS Chartered Surveyors are a firm of Chartered Surveyors, asset valuation and sale specialists. We provide valuations and conduct sales of distressed and surplus assets on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners, lending institutions, legal professionals and private companies.
We have created ASSETtrail, a trading platform that integrates with online marketplaces including eBay and Bidspotter. We also operate our own web store at ASSETtrail.com, where we are able to offer products at our lowest prices.
Our impressive resources and considerable experience gives us a unique and unrivalled ability to be able to list and sell stock individually and directly to end users for dramatically increased realisations, sometimes even in excess of cost price, offered through an online auction, or sometimes a combination of traditional and digital sales strategy.
Based in WORTH House, an 11,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Manchester, recovery of, removal, storage and disposals of assets is a seamless and truly unique offering compared to our professional competitors.
We are fourth generation auctioneers, so there is over 130 years of heritage and experience, ensuring a proactive, focused and personal approach, with a family director always involved in your case.

Auctions - an untapped marketplace for you?

Auctions can often be an untapped marketplace for the sale of stock and assets. From our experience the misconception that realisations are ‘fire sale’ prices are just not correct and realisation often exceed vendor expectations. We are fourth generation professional auctioneers and work with many different vendors with one simple aim. To sell surplus or distressed assets.

From an individual machine to a whole warehouse full of stock, we tailor the service offering to the client’s needs. All enterprises have stock or assets they are paying to store and insure that could be sold to improve cash flow.

A risk free option many of our vendors choose, is to send us the information and images on the stock for sale for inclusion in a collective or specific online auction. We would then only charge the buyer's a commission if the sale completes.

Alternatively we have experienced and qualified staff to undertake the entire exercise on behalf of vendors, but we may have to charge fees and costs for provision of that service.

As a firm of specialist Chartered Surveyors in Machinery and Business Assets we are Regulated By RICS so all funds are held in client accounts which are protected by RICS Client Monies Scheme.
