About Us...

The Club has always been a hub for the local Thornaby community since it's opening in 1978, with a tradition of supporting local armed forces and service men and women. This tradition began with the original Royal British Legion Club and continued with the Thornaby Ex-Service Club, and it's one that The Aerodrome Club is happy and proud to inherit. We're looking forward to building on those foundations and continuing to strengthen that support as the Aerodrome Club grow and develops.
The new owner of the Aerodrome Club, Simple Leisure Limited, is owned and managed by local Teesside business people that are all members of their own local social clubs, and who all share a passion for the community focal point that the Club as an idea and institution plays in towns and cities across the region and the UK. What drives Simple Leisure is a desire to create a hub for the community surrounding your Club where all parts of that community can enjoy good entertainment, value for money and a comfortable and welcoming environment.
At the Aerodrome Club, you'll see quality weekly entertainment, large cash prizes for Bingo and other games, reduced costs across all products at the bar and ongoing improvements to the interior and exterior of your Club.

This room is available for hire and is ideal for fundraising events, weddings, christenings and birthdays of groups of 100 people or more also we have available for smaller gatherings our 85 capacity lounge
