Statesman Rail operate day and weekend tours with travel on the diesel hauled 'Statesman' land cruise train offering departures from various local stations, or, 'Fellsman' steam train with a return journey over the spectacular Settle to Carlisle railway. On most tours there are four classes of travel available ranging from standard class through to the pampered opulence of Pullman dining.

The popular steam hauled 'Fellsman' runs again every Wednesday in summer 2015 for its 7th season offering a return journey over the spectacular 'Settle to Carlisle Railway'. We travel through the Yorkshire Dales and over the roof of England with its great limestone peaks and deep valleys the legendary 'Settle to Carlisle' line is a masterpiece of Victorian engineering including the magnificent 24 arched viaduct at Ribblehead. Time will be available for sightseeing in historic Carlisle - or take an optional tour of the Lake District by vintage coach and cruise on beautiful Ullswater.
