Ashton Roofing Services

Ashton Roofing Services have been providing high quality roof repairs to Tameside and the surrounding areas for more than 50 years!
We can take care of anything from replacing your roof, chimney, gutters or soffits and fascias down to simple roof repairs, chimney repointing and lead work.

Roof Repairs
Ashton Roofing are proud to be the first member in the Tameside area in the roofing category to have achieved this status.
We are also Government endorsed through Trustmark. Trustmark is the Government backed initiative to help consumers find reliable and trustworthy local tradesmen to carry out repairs inside and outside the home. It is widely supported by Consumer Protection Organisations Local Trading Standards and the Building Industry. As a fully warranted and registered building company we offer a full Masterbond Warranty.

Insurance Work
Full roofing projects now require by law full planning application to your local council. Not only will we provide you with a detailed specification and quotation, we will also submit your application to the local council taking all the stress and red tape away from you so that you can relax and simply enjoy your new roof. Many people are unaware of the new planning application requirements and allow builders to re-roof their property without proper applications being in force only to find difficulty in selling their homes later on with the new Governing HIPP forms requiring proof of planning application for all re-roofs since 2007.

Soffits and Fascias
Our joinery section provides a full PVCu sofit, fascia and guttering service. This can be implemented as part of a new roofing programme or as a separate entity altogether. We can provide advice on the type and colours of PVCu that are available and guide you on new ventilation guidelines required in their fitting.
All our PVCu products are British (swish) made and guaranteed not to discolour unlike many foreign products available on the market.

Chimney Repairs
We at Ashton Roofing pride ourselves on a high standard of workmanship and this applies equally to repairs as it does to replacement roofs.
We are skilled in the removal, re-building and restoration of chimney stacks and parapet walls, also, re-pointing, rendering, chimney capping and pot replacements.

Lead Work
Whether it be relatively straight forward lead flashings around the chimney or more complex lead valleys or bay roof tops, we at Ashton Roofing provide a full service. We have specific tradesmen within our company who specialise in this area who will carry out the initial inspection, ascertain the correct specification coding of lead required to conform to Building Regulation Specifications and ultimately supply and install the lead work to the exact standards.
