About Us

Notre Dame Catholic College is a Voluntary Aided Catholic Comprehensive School currently for girls and boys in Year 7 and 8 and girls aged 14-19, with provision for mixed education in the Sixth Form.

Since September 2012 the college has admitted boys into Year 7 and 8, and by September 2016 the college will be fully coeducational. The college has been in existence for 144 years and enjoys an excellent reputation in the community. The college has outstanding facilities enhanced by the provision of a Performance Arena, Drama Studio and Dance Studio, each of which is equipped for multipurpose use. We also have a Learning Resource Centre with facilities for enhanced Learning Support, six Science Laboratories, five fully equipped Computer Rooms, a Music Technology Suite and College Chapel.

All Departments are situated in their own specialist areas and are equipped to a high standard. There is an excellent student/computer ratio of 1:1 and all teaching areas have interactive whiteboards and projectors.
