Skegness and District Funeral Services are funeral directors with over 42 years' experience of organising funerals. We offer a 24 hour call out service & we have a private chapel of rest for your use from a simple service to an elaborate horse-drawn funeral. Our range of funeral services can be tailored to exactly the funeral you want for your loved one. We can take full responsibility for all funeral arrangements, After a death, loved ones can decide whether to view the body in our private and tranquil chapel of rest. This is a highly personal decision, but many people find that it helps them in their grieving process. Your funeral director will explain the option to you fully - if you decide you would like a viewing in the chapel of rest, we will make every effort to welcome you at a time to suit you, including evenings and weekends. The deceased is usually able to rest in the chapel for several days before the funeral, once all of the formalities have been completed. We understand that viewing a body can be daunting and emotional - you do not have to go through this alone. If you wish, we will be happy to accompany you on the viewing and to stay with you for as long as you wish.
