Aromatherapy Massage

Really relax with this beneficial treatment. Allow the mind to let go and experience the calm that is possible when the body relaxes. This treatment is so good for stress and also for those who live on their own and don't get much physical contact. Healing plant oils are carefully chosen to work with you to augment this process. Good, firm pressure also gets to the aches and pains which prevent us being really at ease in our physical self.

Remedial Massage

As above but with more specialised techniques to get to the root of any physical discomforts.

Jin Shin Jyutsu (pronounced jin shin jitsoo)

If you are sensitive to energy work, this is the treatment for you. Said to be "the grandmother of acupuncture", it is akin to acupuncture wiithout needles. Using the electromagnetic energy in the hands, our own personal energy is encouraged to flow more effectively and freely. It is a complete healthcare system in its own right and I have seen tremendous benefits with people using this treatment. Patients are encouraged to learn the techniques for themselves to help their own healing. I just love this therapy!

Reflexology

This is a specialised, intensive foot massage. It is especially relaxing and works to stimulate the organs of the body to function efficiently. Again, particularly good for those who don't get much physical contact.

Craniosacral Balancing

Really gentle spinal and cranial manipulation to ease out any misalignments of the skeletal system which cause knock-on effects in our general health. Deeply calming and releasing.

Counselling

Janet Levin, our counsellor, is BACP registered. She has over 20 years' experience working in education,, the Health Service and private practice. She works in an integrative way using Person Centred, Transactional Analysis and Mindfulness approaches and offers customers safe space and a confidential service.
