About Us...

Sherborne Wharf Marina is situated in the heart of Birmingham is based on the Oozles Street loop on James Brindley's old 'Main Line' canal.

Birmingham boasts more canals than Venice! It is in the heart of the canal system in England and therefore Sherborne Wharf offers the 'adventurous boater' extensive cruising routes and links to other canals on the system.

Our trip and party boats, depart from International Convention Centre (I.C.C) moorings, on the canal side adjacent to the I.C.C. The main Waterbus bus stop and Floating Coffee Co operate from the opposite side. We provide corporate entertainment, parties afloat, silver service catering. We can also offer an extra hospitality facility to those exhibiting in the ICC and the National Indoor Arena.

Our large marina gives access to the centre of daytime activities and the night life found in the heart of Birmingham, including theatres, museums and concert halls. Therefore If you are looking for long term moorings or just a temporary overnight stay Sherborne Wharf Marina would be the perfect choice!

More Information...

All of our cruises depart from THE International Convention Centre quayside. Customers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the trip is due to commence. Unfortunately no refund can be given for late arrivals. The nearest Car Park available is Brindleyplace, off Sheepcote Street. At the time of booking full payment will be requested as well as your choice of menu and wine (1 bottle per couple). We do not allow passengers to provide their own food or entertainment on board.

Bookings enquiries can be made via our contact form or phoning on + 44 (0) 121 455 6163. Our office is open seven days a week from 9am-5pm. American Express and all other major credit and debit, switch or solo cards are accepted. Cash and cheques are accepted however, cheques must be cleared through our bank 3 days before the time of the trip. Please note: because of the increased popularity we are unable to hold any provisional reservation.

We reserve the right to cancel bookings for operational reasons. In such exceptional circumstances customers will be given the option of a choosing a refund or an alternative date. In the case of customer cancelations no refunds will be given unless the cancelation is received 14 days before the day of hire.
