Bryn Melyn has offered support and care to young individuals since 1985. Their dedicated team work extremely hard to bring about successful outcomes for every young person that receives support. Their integrated approach to care includes therapy and education and ensures placement stability.

At the core of what they do is understanding that these children, who have experienced extreme disruption, need an opportunity to settle down and form relationships.

The applied therapeutic methods require high levels of energy and professionalism from their staff. Longer term therapeutic care is an effective strategy when caring for the most challenging young people, delivering development, growth, and recovery, whilst facilitating positive change.

Through an extensive curriculum that is broad and balanced with two independent schools registered with Ofsted, Bryn Melyn educates young people, helping them to gain qualifications that are widely recognised by colleges of further education and employers.

For emergency cases, Bryn Melyn's crisis intervention service can ensure immediate safety. Placement can be made within four hours of contact. These placements last for a maximum of 62 days, giving youngsters the opportunity to turn their lives around and plan for a more secure future.

With over 30 specialist small care homes for individual, paired or 3 person placements, Bryn Melyn work with young people who have suffered abuse, trauma, or family breakdown.

There are very few reasons why Bryn Melyn would not consider placing a young person within their care, where consistent placement, relevant therapeutic services, and a bespoke educational package are designed to identify and meet their needs.
