The Old Royal George is situated on the main road between Northallerton and Bedale, North Yorkshire. There is a vibrant bar area attracting a wonderful atmosphere. Entertainment is derived through live music and we also have Darts Teams that regularly meet .
Old pub of character with public bar and separate 40 seat restaurant. Car park is opposite. Guest beers from the Marston's range.

GREAT BAR FOOD
Can't fault this place, 3 of us ate there last night (Steak Night) it was everything you would want if you want high quality, well cooked bar food and good service. 3 Starters, 1 Sirloin, 1 Gammon and 1 Fish and chips all for 40 quid. The gammon was shown as 10oz I am sure it was nearer 14! We will keep on going back time and time again.
FESTIVE SUNDAY LUNCH
Very enjoyable roast lamb dinner,preceded by a tasty prawn cocktail in a very Christmassy ambience which must have took an age to put up.The good news is they make their own chips which will be tried on a fish & chips night,I have been reliably informed.

Been there lots an lots of times , food is all fresh , good quality. And plentiful.
If you want all of the previous comments , get on down there. ,

FANTASTIC MEAL EVERY VISIT GETS BETTER AND BETTER :)
Another beautiful meal had in the snug, Gorgeous food...mouth melting steak complete with chunky cut chips and the Stilton sauce was out of this world. We also recommend the fish and chips too plus child friendly and we could have our meal either in the main bar, the beautiful snug or the restaurant...but on a summer evening eating outside is lovely too. Thank you guys for your friendly approach and we shall be back :)
