Sam Hickman. Singing Harpist Biography:
Sam Hickman is a Anglo-American Singing harpist. Hailing from London originally but spending much of her childhood in Houston Texas, Now residing in Cardiff after achieving a Bmus degree from Cardiff University School of Music.
During her time in Cardiff she has honed her skill for playing the harp while singing, taking the traditional welsh instrument in new directions performing pieces from musical theatre to Jazz standards and Pop! She regularly performing in Cardiff and is the Resident harpist at the Hilton Cardiff on the weekends for their afternoon teas.
Sam is also the founder of the Cardiff Consort, a professional choral ensemble made up of 5 other professional musicians and singers in Cardiff.

We booked Sam for our wedding reception at The New House Hotel Cardiff. I kept in contact with Sam via email in the run up to our wedding which I found very useful. Sam asked for a list of music we wanted playing and nothing was too much trouble. Sam was completely professional throughout and played amazingly on the day - many of our guest commented how her music made the arrival drinks a relaxed atmosphere. Charity Concert
Sam Hickman recently performed at a charity concert that I had organised, she was
a great hit with the audience. Her playing of the harp was beautiful, and it was an
extra treat to hear her sing along with her playing. Her choice of music was good,
and very much enjoyed by all.
She performed in a professional manner, I thoroughly recommend her.
