About us

Our service is a professional, and a high quality family run service.

We are police checked and insured.

During our first year of business we were approved by Pet Sitters Alliance who carried out appropriate checks and provided insurance, and web links for experienced pet sitters, which gave us a great start to our business.


We offer a tailor made service for your very important pets (vip's) within your own home.

We care for any pets from furry small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, rats and we care for poultry, birds, and even horses can be catered for.

We offer as many home visits as you need, for as many hours of care required from a half hour visit to hours of pet sitting, within the comfort of your own home.

Our aim is to provide a loving experience for your pets, which is as close to having family at home as is possible.

We want your pets to be happy, stress free and have fun whilst you are away, without having the stress of going to boarding kennels or a cattery.Your pets are treated as individuals, with all the love and attention they require.

At Pet Assist we also offer boarding for small furry animals like rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas etc, and for birds, at Pet Assist premises which is safe and secure.

All cages and hutches are cleaned daily. Pets will not mix unless from the same family if appropriate.
All boarded rabbits need up to date vaccinations for VHD & myxomatosis. We do not ask for birds to be vaccinated, as we dont board many at one time, however this is at the owners risk and a signed waiver will be required.
We do not provide boarding facilities for dogs or cats, as i have my own cats at home (however, should prefer to board your dog in a dog hotel, then my family have this facility and may provide this service,subject to the dogs temperament on mixing with others and the demand).

Our charges at Pet Assist are priced fairly, subject to an initial assessment visit, which is free with no obligation and so we can meet your pets.

All packages are tailor made to your requirements and pets needs.

We also provide emergency care for animals when owners are admitted to hospital or disabled and are not well. Or we can set up a contingency plan just incase, or hold a key.

We also provide a pet taxi which can be to collect and return your pet or maybe get to and from a vet appointment.
We wouldn't want your pets to be 'home alone' without the support and care from someone on a regular basis, so we began providing services that you can trust.
