My daughter left her iPhone in a cab. She realised immediately and rang AI to report it. The chap told her to call back in 10 mins. She called back a further 5 times over an hour and got no answer. I called them the next day and they told me they hadnt given her a lift. After telling me the phone was with a number of different employees over the next 2 days, they then told me that someone had come into the office, not long after she lost it and claimed the phone. The person claimed to be her boyfriend. The chap on duty did no checks to verify who this person was. No name, not asking girlfriends name, no asking him to describe or call the phone. Nothing. According to him, he just gave away a £600.00 phone to someone who popped in. I asked about identifying the person from the office CCTV and was told it didnt work! Clearly I wouldnt use them again as if I lose something, Im not confident Id get it back.
