We offer a warm welcome in a relaxing atmosphere with a wide range of expert hair and beauty treatments to choose from. Last year we were lucky enough to be chosen by AVEDA to represent as an exclusive AVEDA salon, the only one of it's kind in Barnstaple. Within our unique salon we also have two beauty treatment rooms, located on the ground floor, providing easy access to all our customers. All our hair stylists and beauty therapists are highly trained and professional and will offer you an individual service. We are also the main approved GHD stockist in Barnstaple selling GHD Curling Wands, Tongs, Straighteners and Hairdryers. Here at Nirvana we only want the best for our customers which is why we chose the natural hair and skin care ranges, who respect our environment and are made using only high grade naturally derived ingredients.

Been going to see Angie for about 4 years now and I've never looked back. They all listen to what I want to the letter and they can cope with kids really well, my little man loves having his hair cut there! Can't wait until my next visit, pure relaxation as soon as you walk in the door.

Had a fab haircut and colour here and will be going back for eyelash tinting. Really friendly and relaxed atmosphere and right in the middle of Barnstaple so ideal to pop into whilst in town for lunch or a shopping trip!!

I always look forward to my appointments at Nirvana. Lovely stylists and beauty therapists, who are talented and skilled in latest treatments and techniques. My favourite treatment without doubt is Reflexology with Jess....truly an hour of bliss just for me. X
blissful pampering
I have been having my treatments colour and cuts here for quite a while now. My 4 daughters love it here too. All the girls are amazingly skilled stylists, who always do a fab job and great value too! I have taken my girls in when they have dyed there hair orange instead of blonde.... and they leave happy! I took my youngest as she had completely matted hair after her school trip......the lovely Danni gently washed it, and the amazing Rosie styled it....my daughter now loves swishing and brushing her hair with pride! Cant wait for the wedding hair next year too! see you soon x

I've been coming to Nirvana a while now and I would highly recommend it. They always listen to what you want and don't just start doing their own thing! Especially Sarah she's lovely!

I've been going to Nirvana for a couple of years now and won't be going elsewhere. Lovely, friendly staff, great service and nice place in general. Rosie is a very talented stylist and a friend has already booked in with her upon my recommendation. Perfect all round!
Feeling Fab
I've just had my hair washed, cut and blow dried by Kathy and feel like a million dollars. She never fails to understand exactly what I want done with my hair and can always give me a top suggestion if I want to try something new. It's taken me a long time to find a hairdresser as good as Kathy so I'm only too pleased to give her a 5 star review and to say thank you for her professionalism, eye for detail and unending humorous conversation.
Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Kathy has been doing my hair for 12 years now and always does a fantastic job. She helps me choose colours and styles and always makes me feel great. My sons come here too. In fact they wait till they are back from uni to have their hair cut here. You can always trust the stylists to do a good job and they are all very friendly and professional. I can highly recommend Nirvana.
