Poor service and aftersales experienced

When my Espace developed an electrical fault I read the positive reviews about Go-Renault and took it to them. They took a month to effect two repairs to the car costing me over £1700 (and the car off the road for a month), neither of which conclusively fixed the problem. Subsequently, the fault was diagnosed by the frequently visiting RAC man, who said that the alternator had failed and that this had been pretty obvious. That repair - done by another garage - has cured the faults. In between time, I had been sold a new battery for the Espace by Go-Renault, with a 2year warranty, that failed after two months. Go-Renault failed to replace or refund this battery, so I went to the manufacturer, who told me (and I have it in writing) that the battery was unsuitable for my car and thus the warranty was void. Go-Renault will still not refund, nor replace, let alone apologise for leaving my wife and children broken down because of a battery that was never fit for purpose. I will not return to Go-Renault, and I write this review to save others the expensive inconvenience of doing so themselves.
