Occupational Deafness/Hearing Loss claims

Occupational deafness is usually caused by repeated exposure to excessive levels of noise at work though it can also be caused by a one time exposure to a very loud noise. Permanent hearing damage can result and the exposure may also cause tinnitus (a ringing or buzzing in the ear).

Asbestosis - this is a disease caused by inhaling asbestos fibres usually over a long period of time which causes lung fibrosis or scarring and thickening to the lung tissue.
