About us

GZ Blasting is a mobile sandblasting company established in March 2015 and is run by Glenn Atfield and Szolt Bacstelki. Glenn and Zolt have worked within the blasting industry for over 37 years (combined) and have a wide range of knowledge and skills when sand blasting old wood, brick, metal and other media.

GZ Blasting offer shot blasting and sand blasting style solutions for restoration and renovation of old wood, brick and metal structures, internal and external. GZ Blasting adopt the techniques used in shot and sand blasting but with a specialist, low abrasive media imported from Germany. The media used is Health and Safety approved Silca Free Abrasive, which is finer than salt granules and is a safer solution than sand or shot.
