Barratt Removals foundation began in the 1970s in Stockport. A few years later the business transferred to Yorkshire. We are now back in Stockport to provide a professional removal service based on our experience. House and office removals can appear to be a stressful time, therefore our intention is to support you and make sure that your removal goes as smoothly as possible.

For your house removal, please arrange a visit for our estimator to assess your requirements and give you a quotation for your removal. We will then book a removal date. Our team will arrive on the appointed date of your removal and your furniture and goods will packed securely into our van to be transported to your new home. We also offer a wrap and packaging service for all your delicate goods or can provide you with packaging kits.

For your office removal, our consultant will work with you to assess the scope of your move and provide you with an action plan that meets your requirements for a successful office move. We can also provide packaging services.

Barratt Removals offer a packaging service for your goods. We will arrive on a day suitable for you, which will usually be the day before or on the day of your removal. We will wrap and pack every item in your home or office, marking each box with the description of the contents and with the room it belongs too. If you request this service, we will include it in the price quotation.

If you want to package your items by yourself, we can supply all the packaging materials you need for the job. Our standard removal pack, suitable for up to a 3 bedroom house removal, includes an assortment of packing boxes, bubble wrap and packing tape.
